Chelsea  Painters, James Clark & Jean Canavan and were accepted into the 2016 Michigan Water Color Society 69th Annual Exhibition. at the Ella Sharp Museum in Jackson, Michigan.

James Clark’s trompe-l’oeil painting ‘Trump-l’oeil ‘was awarded the Norman and Dulcie Rosenfeld Award at the Michigan Water Color Society 69th Annual Juried Exhibition, it will be included in their traveling exhibition. The juror, Bruce Bobick, enjoyed the humor and word play of Jim’s painting and spoke well of his motif. The words written on the painting -‘Ce-ne-sont-pas-la-coiffure-dun-politicien’. (‘This is not the hairstyle of a politician’)
