"After the Rain II", Pastel, 11 x 17
Teresa is captivated by light and shadow, mood and atmosphere and the spirit of nature. She finds that the brilliant hues available in pastels allow her to depict these elusive characteristics.
Her goal is to produce paintings that inspire introspection – paintings that nurture the viewer’s process of self-discovery and self-awareness. Her greatest pleasure comes from watching someone who is stopped in front of one of her paintings, completely immersed in it, fully captivated by their own inner journey.
Teresa has exhibited in numerous juried shows and is a member of the Ann Arbor Women Artists and Chelsea Painters. Her work is featured in the book of poetry and art, In Drought Time, Scenes From Rural and Small Town Life.
