The abstract interpretations of sheep that one sees in Nancy’s work are evocative of the rural scenes of her life on the farm. They show creative explorations in color and design, sometimes whimsical, that fill her paintings with imaginative energy.

Nancy’s work has been included in many local and national juried shows, where she has won many awards and achieved signature membership in the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society.

Her work has been published in the books Watercolor, Painting Color and The Collective Best in Watercolor by Rockport Press.

  1. Nancy,
I used to work at Chelsea Hospital and was very familiar with your work while I lived there, in fact I purchased one of your original painitngs of cows and barns. I have since moved to Arizona and am remembering seeing your paintings of cornfields. I was wondering if you still have any paintings of cornfields. I was raised on a farm and am just retiring from nursing. I have been pursuing art more intently for the past decade or so and I really appreciate the way you abstract the farm scenes. For me. abstracting a subject is a big challenge.
I look forward to hearing from you about any artwork or giclees you have for sale (especially cornfields)!
