'Whispered Directions', Gouache, 19 x 19
Toni’s painting ‘Whispered Directions’, which had been juried into the 2010 Jackson Civic Art Association Biennial Exhibition, received an honorable Mention. The painting is of five little ballerinas deciding what their next moves should be in the dance number. It illustrates a moment during the recital which charmed everyone in the audience. Toni photographed the girls on stage and attempted to illustrate the girls animated discussion.
The JCAA exhibit runs March 27 – May 22, 2010
