39th ANNUAL ART FAIR: CHELSEA PAINTERS
June 2nd and 3rd, 2012.
The Chelsea Painters 39th Annual Art Fair will be held
Saturday, June 2nd and Sunday, June 3rd, 2012 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the
courtyard of Silver Maples of Chelsea, 100 Silver Maples Dr., Chelsea, MI.
Twenty-five award-winning artists will display and sell original fine art and
cards in a variety of media: watercolor, acrylic, oil, pastel, gouache, encaustic
and mixed media. The event is free, open to the public, wheelchair accessible and is held in a delightful, park-like outdoor setting. A lovely indoor café overlooks the art fair.
Please note that the Art Fair will be held in a new location this year. Watch for signs as you’re approaching the area.
The Chelsea Center for the Arts (CCA) will offer hands-on art activities
for children during the Art Fair. This event is free of charge.
A percentage of proceeds will be donated to the Chelsea Center for the Arts (CCA) and to the Chelsea Community Hospital Auxiliary Scholarship Fund.
